“Soft power” in the foreign policy of Uzbekistan

On April 26 of this year, was held a scientific and practical conference on “soft power in the foreign policy of Uzbekistan” with the participation of students of the graduate stage of the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

 

The conference was hosted by Professor Jumayev Rustam Ziyatovich, doctor of political science. The Masters took part in the following subjects with their thesis:

 

Shakerov Ulan - Categorical analysis of the term" soft power";

 

Abdurasulova Mekhriniso - Japan's "soft power" policy in Central Asia;

 

Shamuratova Risolat - Cultural values of Uzbekistan;

 

Ergasheva Janar - Brand cities of Uzbekistan;

 

Khojamkulova Mahliyo - New Uzbekistan’s schools;

 

A'zamov Sobirkhoja - Humanitarian diplomat of New Uzbekistan.

 

Dedicated to the opportunities of the soft power policy of the New Uzbekistan, this conference was held in a heated mood, and the questions asked by the participants were given detailed answers by the professor and responsible staff of the Diplomatic Academy.

 

Based on the lectures of students, recommendations were made that should be taken in consideration in their future scientific work in the appropriate places, if certain aspects were recognized. This conference is planned to be held on an ongoing basis, and the participation of undergraduates of UWED is also envisaged next week.
