From October 3 to October 16, 2023, a two-week course “Fundamentals of foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, diplomatic protocol, etiquette and negotiation process” was organized at the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED for the command staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the training, attendees mastered theoretical and practical skills in such areas as the basics of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, the theory and practice of business correspondence, the organization of diplomatic receptions, conducting negotiations, as well as the methods for preparing programs for protocol events during official visits at various levels.

Course participants highly appreciated the level of organization and delivery of the courses, the content of the program and the professional competence of the lecturers and practitioners. It was also emphasized that the acquired knowledge will contribute to the successful implementation of their tasks.

On October 16 of this year, in a solemn ceremony, all course participants were awarded certificates of completion of short-term courses of the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
