On the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a meeting was held between Bakhtiyor Saidov and Sergey Lavrov.

During the meeting, the foreign ministers of the two countries discussed current issues of strategic partnership, as well as preparations for upcoming high-level and top-level events.

It is noted that the agenda of bilateral cooperation remains extensive and covers all areas.

"The importance of adherence to the principle of non-interference in each other's internal affairs for strengthening mutual trust was noted. We agreed to continue our ongoing dialogue in the spirit of alliance," B. Saidov emphasized.
