Moscow, 2025 — As part of her official visit to the Russian Federation, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Aide to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held several high-level meetings focused on deepening bilateral cooperation in the spheres of culture, media, and humanitarian affairs.

During her meeting with Alexey Gromov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Administration, the two sides discussed information security, combating disinformation, and promoting responsible journalism. Both parties affirmed their readiness to hold practical consultations in Tashkent.

In a meeting with Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, cultural cooperation took center stage. Key highlights included the upcoming Uzbek art exhibition at the New Jerusalem Museum and Russia Culture Days in Uzbekistan — powerful symbols of mutual respect and shared cultural values.

Saida Mirziyoyeva also met with Valentina Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. They emphasized support for civil society initiatives, youth exchanges, and the opening of new branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan.

The visit concluded with a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Discussions centered on trade, investment, labor migration, and launching new educational initiatives, including the creation of an engineering school under MISiS.

This visit reaffirmed the mutual commitment to strengthening the Uzbekistan–Russia strategic partnership and achieving tangible results in key areas of cooperation.
