On 3 October 2023, a conference dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and encyclopedist Abu Rayhan Beruni was held at the International Center of India.

The conference, organized jointly with the Embassy of our country in Delhi, the India-Central Asia Foundation and the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, was attended by representatives of leading universities and research centers of the two countries.

Scientists from the Abu Rayhan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Kashmir University and other researchers spoke about the scientific activities and role of the great thinker Abu Rayhan Beruni in the development of world science.

The participants of the International Conference gave a lecture on topics related to the historical and modern significance of the scientific heritage of Abu Rayhan Beruni.

In their speeches, the participants of India argued that Beruni's "India" did not lose its value as a unique source in the process of studying Indian history even today.

The conference contributes to the deepening of our bilateral historical ties and the strengthening of our modern relations.
