From May 12 to May 24, 2025, a two-week course “Fundamentals of foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, diplomatic protocol, etiquette and negotiation process” was organized at the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for officers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the course, the attendees obtained theoretical and practical skills in such areas as the basics of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, the theory and practice of business correspondence, organization of diplomatic receptions, negotiation, as well as the methodology for preparing programs of protocol events during official visits of various levels.

On May 24, 2025 all attendees, who successfully finished the course were awarded certificates of completion of short-term courses at the Diplomatic academy, UWED at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
