The 40th issue of Ishonch newspaper, published on 24 September 2026, featured an interview with Prof. A.Khaydarov, Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), Doctor of Political Sciences.

The interview addressed key issues related to the development of modern diplomacy, the training of a new generation of diplomats, the improvement of diplomatic education, and the formation of a national school of diplomacy. Particular attention was paid to the new requirements for diplomatic professionals amid the expanding international relations of Uzbekistan, the growing role of economic diplomacy, as well as technological, investment, and transport cooperation.
