At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will pay an official visit to our country from October 29 to November 1.

According to the visit program, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which the parties will discuss current issues of further expanding the multifaceted Uzbek-Finnish cooperation, primarily in the political, trade and economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Special attention will be given to increasing mutual trade volumes and establishing cooperation in such areas as agriculture, ecology, chemistry, energy, digitalization, mining, and other innovative industries.

The agenda will also include issues of cooperation in the fields of labor migration, culture, and the introduction of advanced technologies into the education system.

An exchange of views will also take place on pressing international issues, including mutual support within multilateral platforms.
