On April 9, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The two sides held a substantive exchange of views on current issues of the bilateral agenda, placing particular emphasis on strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States of America.

During the talks, key areas of cooperation were discussed, including the expansion of political dialogue, the deepening of economic and investment ties, the development of regional cooperation, as well as ensuring security and stability in Central Asia. The Uzbek side highly appreciated the support provided by the United States for the ongoing reforms in the country.

Both parties confirmed their commitment to maintaining the positive momentum of Uzbekistan–U.S. relations. An agreement was reached to continue high-level dialogue and practical cooperation across a wide range of areas within the framework of the strategic partnership.
