At the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Washington, D.C. on November 4 for a working visit.

At Andrews Air Force Base, the Head of State was welcomed by U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, Chairperson of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm, and other officials.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for November 5–6. The President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, and take part in the C5+1 Summit of the Leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States.

The program of the visit also includes meetings with representatives of the U.S. Congress and Government, as well as separate talks with the heads of leading American companies and a roundtable with the business community.
