With the theme "If we stand together - we are a single people; if we unite - we are a strong country!" a spiritual-educational lesson honoring Uzbekistan's 33rd anniversary of Independence was held on September 8, 2024, at the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED for postgraduates of the academic year 2024–2025.
Information on Uzbekistan's recent rapid development and its history of independence were covered in the class, including the bravery of our forefathers, who battled for our country's freedom and prosperity.
The achievement of the current prospects and progress was also mentioned. In particular, after 2016, when our nation entered a new stage of development under the leadership of President Sh. M. Mirziyoev, it was emphasized that radical reforms were being carried out in all spheres and sectors and that processes of democratic renewal were underway.
It was observed that freedom is the sole foundation upon which the past era can construct a free and happy living as well as a bright future. It was mentioned how our great-grandfathers fought for the freedom and tranquility of the Motherland.
It's also claimed that the names of repression victims and progressive Jadids who lost their lives for our independence would serve as the cornerstone for the creation of a new, independent Uzbekistan, owing to the restoration of historical justice and truth.
Postgraduate students of the Academy asked questions about the processes of Uzbekistan's diplomatic development, and answers were provided in the areas of our nation's political, economic and social development as well as pertinent slides were also displayed.
