On April 11, 2025, a meeting was held at the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) with Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari, Head of the Department for Gulf States and Central Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman. The Ambassador of Oman to Uzbekistan, Al-Sayyida Wafa Jabr Nasser Al-Busaidi, also took part in the meeting.

During the discussion, the parties addressed cooperation in the training of young diplomats.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari emphasized the high level of trust and historical closeness between the two countries and expressed his wish to deliver lectures on the foreign policy of Oman and the policies of the Gulf States.

The meeting was held in a constructive spirit and confirmed mutual interest in further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
