Ibragim Radjabovich Mavlanov - Professor, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of International Finance and Investments of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Uzbekistan. In 2005-2015 he was head of the Department of "Practical diplomacy", in 2015-2018 he was head of the Department of "International trade and investments" of the University of world economy and diplomacy. In 1992-2005: Head of the Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Uzbekistan in Latvia, Chief Consultant on Interstate Relations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India and Bangladesh, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Until 1992, he worked in the scientific and practical field of application of information technologies and mathematical methods in the economy, the development of automated control systems. He conducted research and delivered lectures at the universities in Germany (Universität Gießen), Japan (Waseda University), India (Centre for Research and Information Systems), Russia (MGIMO, RUDN and Diplomatic Academy). Winner of international scientific grants, such as: the German Academic Exchange Service, the Japanese Foundation, the Indian Program for Technical and Economic Cooperation, the UN in Uzbekistan, as well as republican scientific grants from the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Author of more than 20 books (monographs, textbooks, manuals) published in Uzbekistan and abroad, and more than 200 scientific articles in the field of international economic relations, world economy, economic diplomacy, foreign policy and economic and mathematical methods.
